Hi there to all riders, rusty on riding gravel or new to riding on gravel.

Gravel riding is what adventure biking is all about, exploring places close to Cape Town that beckon you back for more.

The BMWMCC has organised another enjoyable club gravel road ride.

This serves as an invitation to join BMW Motorrad Donford Stellenbosch on an off road weekend into the isolated quiet beauty of the Greyton mountains.

BMW Motorrad Donford Stellenbosch is in the final stages of planning for this off road weekend into the isolated quiet beauty of the Greyton mountains.

Just to tease u a bit, the following info:

- We will offer: 2 suppers, 2 breakfasts, snacks on arrival, 2  night accommodation which include bedding & towels, breathtaking views, picturesque off road routes, loads of laughs, lots of stars, bonfires, GS times, Back-up vehicle & driver

was well subscribed although there was one no shows and 2 late cancellations.

In the event three gatecrashers arrived on the day and came along, braving the dol start made up for their not booking, and the venue said they would accommodate the increase.

30% of the ride on good old familiar tar roads.

Breakfast Run – Greyton - 26 February 2017

As this was my first trip with BMW club, I was not sure what to expect, arriving at the destination that we were positive about, we arrived at a deserted Engen garage. After double checking on the forum and asking around we realised that is it 07:10. Trip scheduled for 08:00.

We started our morning early with a refreshing coffee at our departing point. And soon the bikes came rolling in. 17 Bikes  24 People

Prologue
I was working like fury on Friday the 13th. I had an immovable deadline to meet: I had to be at Stellenbosch by 4:30pm. My previous work day had stretched over an excruciating 15 hours. I needed a break. I needed a ride. And so did 20-odd others.

Enticed by Andy’s super-secret venue and route teaser pictures, Lance and I joined the other willing adventurers for a fortifying snack at Donford Motorrad Stellenbosch.

Thanks we have reached the accommodation cpaacity.

BMWMCC is going on a two-nighter- overland gravel route ride

14^th and 15^th May

Departing Friday late afternoon 13th from Donford Motorrad Stellenbosch and returning on Sunday.

As n beginner en n versigtige 1 loer ek gereeld wanneer daar n trip vir ons beplan word, so kom die Greyton trip op wat ek al menig maal mee gemaak het want ek sal altyd n beginner bly, maar het km's nodig.

Ek is so opgewonde, ek kan dood! Fiets word gestrip, en sommer goeie diens gegee.  Net sodat Annemarie my bubble kan bars want ek is n volle maand uit met die datum.
