Autum Spirit of the Adventurer two-nighter gravel ride

BMWMCC is going on a two-nighter- overland gravel route ride

14th and 15th May

Departing Friday late afternoon 13th from Donford Motorrad Stellenbosch and returning on Sunday.

 

This is at a secret venue, you will never have visited before but will need to visit again and again.

Not just because it is only  90 kilometers from Donford, Stellenbosch, or because it is so high you can see tomorrow coming, but because it is set in the isolated quiet and beauty of the Overberg district.

 

 

Get off work early.

Get to Donford by 16H30 on Friday the 13th.

We brief at 17H00 and we ride at 17H30.

We will ride irrespective of the weather. No rain forecast in our sector.

Gravel riding is what adventure biking is all about, exploring places close to Cape Town that beckon you back for more.

And that’s just what we have in store for you.

Plenty stops to adjust gear & bikes as needed to make your ride more comfortable and photograph the awesome scenery.

 

Saturday 14th May (400km) will see us riding some of the most awesome farm roads and back roads even veterans will say they have not yet ridden. We’ll lunch at the boathouse on the Breede river at Malagas.

70% of the ride on gravel roads

30% of the ride on good old familiar tar roads.

If you have recently done the off-road training, this is a must ride event.

This ride is suited to riders new to gravel roads and is pillion friendly.

Back home at base by 16H30.
