We have recently returned from an ambitious (and I'm happy to say, successful) 8 day filming trip to the Eastern Cape to capture 55 pre-determined passes on video. It turned into quite a trip, with lots of mud, deserted roads, cows, goats, pigs, dogs, warthogs and other ancillary hazards - like road signs, so old and rusted as to be illegible. In our news release today we take you into the details and offer some pics of the trip plus a short video of a hugely talented singer we discovered in a pub in Hogsback. That alone is worth the click-through!
On Monday the 1st March, in the soft light of the rising sun, I was threading my way through the early morning peak traffic to meet another three riders who had been attracted to the same folly. This was to ride through all of SA’s nine Provinces.
Hi All,
As previously said, please forgive my spelling and tenses. I grew up in the Kalahari where we started crying and went into hiding when the Engelse came to visit us. Charles, please help us Afrikaanse ouens with an English spell and grammar check on this forum. I want to run away when I must write something on the forum.
Ag wat, let me try.
We had a nice all tar trip over the past weekend. 22-24/02/2013.
