Off Road Training : 25 Jun : Lev 1, 2 &Pillion

See ALL DETAILS in Rider Skills, 2017 Training dates

The Level 1, 2 and pillion Off Road training is as per BMW standards. We prefer and recommend riders to do Level 1 first and then move to Level 2.  This way we know they have learned the basics.  We recommend riders with a new bike to do a refresher of Lev 1 or 2 depending on their riding abilities as each bike have its own bonding space and dynamics.

Only 1 level can be completed on a day.

Having completed Level 1 only a few weeks prior, I tackled Level 2 training on the 4th of December 2016.

Recce of a possible new route for Advanced level of Club training

This story originated at the last club meeting. After each monthly club meeting there are usually a couple of people who moves to the back of the club house where there is a fairly large flat wooden surface where an “un-official” meeting is held and a wide variety of topics are discussed over a “vuil coke” or two. This flat wooden surface, also more commonly known as a BAR, is globally renowned as the place where some of the best ideas or solutions for problems originates from.

Ladies Only Training Day

Hello Ladies

I've had a number of requests for a Ladies Only training day so....

the offroad training team will put on a special Ladies Training Day for you at Anura which will include Level 1 training mixed with some other fun activities to make you more familiar with your bikes, more comfortable offroad and put smiles on your faces :-)

The date is provisional, but will probably be Sunday 16 August.

Book the date in your calendar and I shall ask Phillip at Donford to include the event in the booking sheet.

Level 1 Training - 19 April 2015

What an awesome experience!!!

We were a group of about 15 riders (some doing Level 1 again) and had an absolute blast. The instructor made us feel welcome and not intimidated at all (egos must be left at home). Decent theory session at the start (LOTS to take in within a short time) as we wanted to get to the bikes and the practical :)

Safety was always first and foremost so no drama (almost) during the entire day.
