Breakfast Run :: Opstal Restaurant on Slanghoek Pass
Join Charles for a breakfast run to the Opstal Restaurant in Slanghoek on Sunday 30 Oct.
The breakfast menu will be:
- Opstal breakfast
Bacon, boerewors, fresh tomato, panfried mushrooms and scrambled eggs - Mushroom Quiche
served with Rosa Tomatoes, Rocket & a Balsamic Reduction
We will ride there over Du Toits Kloof Pass (107km), and you ride back at your leisure via any of several scenics routes (Bainskloof, Du Toits, Tulbagh or Villiersdorp).
- Meeting place: ENGEN Plattekloof parking area, Plattekloof Village
- Meeting time: 07:30 to leave 08:00
Please be fuelled up and ready to leave by 08:00
As with all our breakfast rides, this ride will cater for people new to the club, people wanting to see what the club is about, people who are inexperienced in riding in a group, or even old-timers who want a good ride and breakfast.
Although RSVP is not mandatory, it is useful to have an idea of the numbers we need to cater for. Updates and RSVP on this post on the forum.

What is the policy of bringing non-members to these rides? (And non-BMW bikes)
The breakfast rides are partly aimed at introducing new people and other bikers to the club . In this way they will experience what we stand for and will then hopefully join.
