We have noticed that many new registrants on the site introduce themselves in their user profile, but get no response because only the committee looks at new member profiles.

Since many people pose their questions in their profile, or put in information or questions for suitable in an introduction, we have created this section of the forum for introductions.  You user profile now only needs to describe you to anybody who might have need to find out a bit more about you.

Unfortunately it is impossible to automatically include user profiles in this forum - so I am including a link to a page that lists all the user profiles in descending order of joining.  Click here to see all the active users.

I calculated that there are 2760 registered users of the forum. That seems like a big number for a localised forum.

Well done Charlie, good initiative.

I almost always read the new members intro's and often if I ave the time or notion and if new members write a bit about themself, then I welcome them as well.

So great to have this functionality added on..
