Thanks to Warren Ellwood for organizing yet another fun, eventful quarry day. I was riding for most of the day but when I wasn't, I captured some of the photographs below
Henk playing in between the cones
Some more dust from Henk...
Gathering under the Gazebo where we had fresh watermelon and ice-cold water
Warren taking his White Beauty for a spin
Quite literally...
I think a 'strafdop' is coming my way
If I buy you a box of doughnuts will you forgive me?
Eric putting in some last minute practice for Jurg se Kaya
Tony preffered going AROUND the circle of cones. Missing the point Tony?
Henk, the front wheel needs to be touching the ground
Adendorffie having some fun...
In the background you can see how some of the quarry has flooded
Gary enjoys both motorbiking AND gymnastics
My proud moment
Nice pics Megan. Thanks.
PS Sometimes picking the right line makes all the difference - it's soo much easier going around the outside
Tony, we missed you this past week-end at Jurg-se-Kaya. What happened: cold feet (boots?) There was absolutely no sand. (Just lots of bleddie soft sand!)
Du Toit, definitely not cold feet.
I'm still mastering the "outside-the-cones" circle (see photo above) and this trip was predominantly straight line riding with few or no cones
I found some cones in the bushes! And we did not see much straight-line riding either - only Geoff seemed to get that right
Tony may not have been there but his 'ex' tent was.
