Prentjiesreport --- 'n trippie na Oasis -

GeelKameel's picture

Saterdagmiddag het ek 'n sms gekry: "...on impulse, i am riding to Oasis ... at 06h00 tomorrow morning"  Dit is tipies Andy wat sulke impulse kry.

'n Mooi dam naby Op-die-Berg

By Oase aangekom.

en anderkant af by Bainskloofpas

Great trippie geweessmileyyes !!!

Thanks GK and Mwendo, what a lekker ride.

We met bang oin time, no waiting.

I wish I had captured the out trip on camera.

That sunrise was just magic.

I also found the vast spectrum of aromas and smells of nature intoxicating.

I love ri=ding out at dawn....

The myriad of night flowers with wonderful scents, the horse stables and the warm smell of fresh horse manure, the  scents from flowers and the earth.

It was a really refreshing and mind clearing ride to breakfast in Ceres.

The roads are ins such great shape,

and gone are the days when your group is the only rider group out in the cuds, we now come across many groups of riders all enjoying this great otudoors.

Sadly, rushing home to the F1 was a real let down.

i think I've just watched my last F1 GP.

Not only is the race now boring and totally predicable , but the commentary is lack-lustre and bland.

i put in a tape from 1998 and another from 2002 and I realise why F1 is dying ...

Long live MOTO GP with its enthusiastic commentators and totally open races where the positions change many time during  a lap, never mind during the race.

What is the road from Ceres to Oasis like at present?

Need to get off the black stuff for the first time in 2 years.....seems a good ride out...

PS - Andy, saw your bike parked at Modena Building this morning...mine was the black LC..
