International Female Ride Day^© (IFRD) is celebrated annually worldwide on the first Saturday of May. The day celebrates women motorcycle riders and is not country, group or organization specific. It is a globally synchronized “JUST RIDE!”^© day, for women. Vicki Gray created IFRD for all women individually, in groups and collectively everywhere.

This ALL TAR TRAINING DAY RIDE  will be for BMW & other brand dual purpose and street bikes.

This type of training day ride will appeal to those that are new to riding / feel the urge to improve their tar riding skills / those that commute on a daily basis / to be more street wise as the summer months on our doorstep.

The focus will be on: 

- rider confidence going through corners,

- keeping your line,

- looking through the bend.

Hi Girls

I'm in the planning to spoil u girls again on this International Female Rider Day 2018.  It will be a venue we have not visited before.  If all works out, it will for sure be a fun day.  The ride will be in a radius of 120 km from CT...a hidden gem ....a venue close to the ocean...a nice ride on our GS's or other bikes...we will pass some familiar areas...all tar ride...some twisty passes...depending on the weather a warm cup of coffee/hot choc at a very popular hotel....no more clues... more details soon.

All aspects regarding off road riding techniques will be attended to en-route on this day outride.  Sufficient stops will allow the trainer/s to demonstrate and discuss riding skills.  

This will be a relaxed ride and the focus will be to build confidence and to bond with your machines, in a safe environment.

- rider confidence going through corners,

- looking through the bend.

- explaining wet road cornering,

- tyre pressures,

- high speed braking, explaining ABS and traction control …how do these electronic components work,

- how to overtake,

- safe distance and riding position behind cars,

- lane splitting, etc etc

We will also try to have an appropriate ceremony to show off our RITV 2017 trophy at BMW Donford, Stellenbosch, this morning.  We will place the trophy on display as per arrangement with Neil, Donford Stellenbosch DP.
