Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

After all the rain of the last few weeks the perfect weather of Sunday was truly appreciated. No wind, perfect sun and just enough snow on the mountain peaks to remind us that this is a winter run. About 9 bikes gathered at Engen, Plattekloof. A few first timers, a number of regulars and then also some that have not ridden with us for a while. A relaxing cruise down the N1 to the Southern Suburbs. At this point I should make it clear that I do not have a passport for the Southern Suburbs – it is all just a beautiful lush green blurr to me. Brian led the ride and pulled in at an Engen, where Dave joined us with another group of riders. By now we were 14 bikes and 17 people.
