Hi to all you classic bike aficionados, Due to decreasing numbers of classic bike competitors in the regional series held at Killarney, we'd like to make the following offer in order to increase our awareness and possibly recruit new members / competitors. Track Day

For me the BMW Motorcycle Club Cape track training day was the highlight of July. The day before, while filling up in preparation, two BMWs arrived at the filling station and the riders introduced themselves: Cheryl and George. Members of the club and also coming to the track. We arranged to travel up together - though we got so engrossed in chatting that we blocked the garage for almost an hour. The nifty 650sThe nifty 650s Sunday midday we meet at the garage and ride up together in convoy to Killarney. Neither of us had been to a track day before, and we were amazed at the number of other bikers of all shapes and sizes who had just finished a morning of racing. We had the afternoon.

Donfords Training Day @ Killarney

Training day 8 July arranged by Donfords. About 50 bikers attended an enjoyable training session at Killarney race track on Sunday. Thanks Donfords, for arranging the meeting. The GS fraternity was very well represented: ~8 650GS, ~22 boxer GS, ~20 other. The other were two LT's, number of RT's, many S boxers and the odd other-brands) Anticipation....Anticipation.... My enthusiasm for the day suffered a huge knock when I woke up early morning midst a heavy downpour. I decided now or never and donned my rain gear.
