Thanks Andy - how did you know it was my birthday?
The day has not been one of the better ones this week, and I am just holding out til Saturday's West Coast trip with Geoff. Hope I make it :( .
BTW.: Brenda Buttercup turns 100 000 (km) this weekend. Does anybody know how to fit a cake into a top-box?
And Brenda has only one cylinder, doesn't box, and rides like the fleedin' clappers. I think she is only just getting to be ridden in ;-)
Charles, I figured if it has been on the same date for past 44 years it probably would not have changed by much this year
Andyman
Yup that's me. Standing up in the traffic on the 1150GSA.
Andyman Anyone can ride a bike fast.... But can you ride your bike real slow???
Hello ou maat, skuus, "jong" maat.
May your year be one free of virusses (human and electronic), with tubes that does not go flat and may BB get you to stunning new places.

Herzlichen Glueckwunsch zum Geburtstag !!!
I didn't know, that you are celebrating just one day before mine.
Enjoy the sand ride on the weekend, give Brenda a big hug for her 100.000 kms.
Olaf
Hey guys
Thanks for the wishes. You have no idea how it improved what was headed towards being a very unsatisfactory day as normal days go and a total disaster as birthdays go.
I had to go to Geoff Russell to drop off my bag for the West Coast trip, and the cameraderie of the other members of our group, and Geoff's pub, rounded off the day very nicely. I ended up coining a slogan:
'''Life's too short not to spend as much time as you can in the company of good people.'''
Und herr Olaf - vielen Glueckwunschen zum deine Geburtstag auch. ;-)
regards
Charles
