Put your rugby jersey, be it white or green, in the panniers and come and join us as we are planning an overnight ride to the “Engelsman se Berge” near Clanwilliam for the weekend of 9 to 10 June 2012, which also just happens to be the date of the first rugby test between these two old adversaries. We have made special arrangements so we are able to watch the match at the farm and the routes will only be finalized once the start time has been announced.

It is the start of winter and I think time to spoil ourselves a little after a multitude or self catering trips, therefore we will be treated to a full spit braai and all the trimmings on Saturday night and a full farm breakfast on Sunday morning. Sybrie also operates an honesty bar in the main lapa, which can be totally enclosed against bad weather and is kitted out with two very large fireplaces which warm the entire place up when needed. We can also get to within 9km of Boegoeberg on tar if the weather should be too nasty for the gravel travel we plan.
