Dixie's Run

The Toy run is on the same date as the Dixie's run on the schedule. Thus the Dixie's run was moved forward to this coming weekend (replacing the Villiersdorp ride).
The Dixie's Run has a Vintage / Veteran theme. Hennie is thus requested to bring his R100RS out of retirement. Similarly ALL BMW riders are asked to bring their Vintage and Veteran bikes along for the ride.
There will be a group starting at Engen Plattekloof. This group will then ride to Engen at Ladies Mile, to join with the second group. The whole group will then ride to Glencairn.
For those that find this ride on the "short" side - there is always the option of an "after ride". :)

The Plattekloof start is at 8:00, thus the Ladies Mile start will probably be at around 8:20.
Would somebody please phone "BC Botha" to inform him that his presence is required. :)

We mit 1time, to benefit Herminator, at that BP across from iLord Charls in Somerset, We then go there straight to that place, sharp ....mmpopi OK my broe?

My dear old R60/2 and I would love to join this ride but it falls on the same day as atlantis ride. do hope there is another vintage ride soon.

Johan, dit is hoekom ek saam met die groep ry - as sweeper. Ek het nie n paspoort vir die Suidelike Voorstede nie. :)
Dixies is in Glencairn (nie dat ek weet waar Glencairn is nie).
Sal dit help as iemand die GPS koordinate vir jou aanstuur?

Snaaks genoeg ek bly in die suidelike voorstede en is nie eers seker waar die plek is nie.....GPS koordinate sal defnitief help.

Moet netnie reguit ry soontoe nie. Daar is see en walvisse tussenin, waarvoor jy sal moet uitdraai

For those English speaking riders, Travel along Main road travelling south or the M3 to the Tokai T junction, turn left, to the next T, turn right and as the road kinks to the left (Mica Hardware in front of you) turn right and proceed up the hill and take it slow so that you can enjoy the scenery, carry on to the T junction turn right and proceed to Fishhoek then on the way to Simonstown approx. 4 or 5 kilo's on your right.
Bum in the saddle, always.

Ladies and Gents this is why we have club captains - to take us to new and unexplored territories. Brian will lead us to Ladies Mile and then Dave will take us on a scenic tour. I am glad to say that 95% of all the places I have visited with the club has been new to the wife and I. :)
You can have breakfast anywhere. There are too many clubs that will take you on a low flying race at every oportunity. Fortunately, the BMW club takes you on a gentle cruise to the most stunning places.
And Yes, JdJ, if you cant make the start please join us later.
