National Warning - Issued on
National Warning - Issued on Friday, 5 June 2009 at 04.00 Wet weather is forecasted for the weekend, should it be raining on Sunday morning the ride to Paddagang will be called off. Please contact me if you would like to find out if the ride is still on at 084 671 1213. Thanks Dave Heavy falls of rain (>50mm) are expected in places mainly along the mountains of the Cape Metropole, The Boland and the western parts of the Overberg District tonight. ADVISORIES: Very cold and windy conditions are expected to set in over the high ground areas of the Western Cape, south-western parts of the Northern Cape as well as the Eastern Cape on Saturday, persisting on Sunday. Strong to gale force westerly winds are expected between Cape Agulhas and East London on Saturday. Very rough seas with waveheight in excess of 5m are expected between Cape Agulhas and East London on Saturday.
