As promised, we've arranged another workshop day at Atlantic.

Shane will open the workshop at 0830 on Sat 16 July for those interested in learning about the technical tips, tricks and traps of their 1200 GS.

He will show us how to pull it apart and put it back together, the typical faults found on the bike and how to resolve them, and general maintenance tips.

Come armed with questions and he'll answer them.

As usual you'll be asked to put your hand in your pocket for a donation (usually R50 which goes towards his time and effort), but for that you'll get tea, coffee and muffins.

We are only taking 15 people this time as more makes it difficult to do a good job of getting the message across, but we'll hold another workshop if there's interest.

Shane feels that helping riders understand their bikes makes his job easier, so Atlantic are going to give a 10% discount on the next service for those who attend.

Preference will be given to club members.

Please put me down for the workshop.

I am keen even though I own a 650. Me knowing a bit might help in the future.

Please fill up with 1200's first then consider me. Give the next man a chanceLaughing

Sincere thanks to Shane & the Auto Atlantic team for the workshop this morning , very enlightening & most informative. Always good to learn something more about these beautiful machines we ride as well as some basic maintenance tips to keep them in good trim. Thanks Shane & Auto Atlantic

very informative morning.

Nothing quite like spending some time with someone who knows his stuff. Clearly Shane knows his stuff and then some. Thanks to Anton for also giving up his Saturday morning to assist Shane.

Thanks Hamid, though I just get names, Shane is the one who does all the work.

I shall be arranging another series of workshops shortly.

Cheers

Pete
