Interestingly the suggested retail price of the Zumo 550 is a lot more compared to the 660.
The feature comparison shows the 550 has XM Radio support (not that we can use it here in South Africa I think).
660 looks very attractive for the South African market though...
What is the resale value of my Zumo 550 :P

Apparently, the purchase of a new Garmin also entitles you to free map updates for life.
EDIT:
The pic on the garmin site is incorrect. The pic is of a Nuvi model.
The new 660 will have the same shape as current Zumos but will apparently be thinner.
There are so many problems in this world. Luckily there's a wristband available for almost all of them.
Zumo 660 Lane change notificationWell - had my Zumo 660 for a week now. Can recommend this unit 110%. At least it does not look like a toy (550?) imo.
Very nice firmware with lane identification as well as a compass and track facility.
Compared to the NUVI-710, it's a bigger unit, more robust with some extra features, but also one or two taken away.
Stereo Bluetooth is great for MP3's.
Just did a trip from London to Belgium & France and can only say that it was a pleasure using this unit.
Dunno what it would retail in SA for... but I paid around R4500 for it with full European Maps and merely inserted my SDcard from the NUVI and "voila" I had the SA Topo loaded(although it freaked out ... being in Europe still)
Will post more pics after fitting it on the Dakkie!
That is a good price.
I can imagine its gonna be much more expensive when it lands on our shores. I'm thinking in the region of the current 550 model.
I hope I'm wrong.
