I attended an emergency services brieifing for contingencies over the festive season.

Two senior traffic officls have told me that they will take a Zero tolerance stance with road users and especially motorcycles that are rude, speed, and trangress regulations.

Carry your licence all the time, stay under the alcohol limit and ensure your reg plate is legal.

the seven ghost sqaud vehicles on 16 hour per day patrol will be looking for bikes riding in emergency lanes, changing mulitple lanes, loud noise and rude behaviour.

you have a target on your back, do not give a reason to cite you.

This is a goosd thing and hopefully they will clean up the streets of irresponsible bikers.
