I witnessed a similar happening, Barry Crawford, a past chairman with his wife Jill on the back went through the Outiniqua Pass scraping the panniers on his 1150 G S. He taught me a thing or 2 about the G S.

More like the stupid, it took me a long time to learn that one.

My good is that I learned it and was able to ride again another day.

 

There are brave bikers and there are old bikers but there are very few brave old bikers.
