In our news release today we explore a very basic gravel pass called Korfnek which will ultimately get you to the tiny hamlet of Tonteldoos right on the Mpumalanga/Limpopo border. The village has an interesting history and it's Afrikaans connotations with bad language, has made the village a place of curiosity, having become a magnet to curious adventure travelers and especially the adventure biker set. This is a very similar story to the town in Austria called (believe it or not) FUCKING, but pronounced differently (FOOKING). In both cases, the names are completely authentic, innocent and devoid of malice or humour.

All jokes aside, Korfnek will provide you with an interesting traverse of the mountains in the Dullstroom area and offers excellent birdlife and sweeping highlands scenery. You can check it out on the link below, oudewoonte free to BMW Club members until Sunday.
