Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

Whilst riding in the Eastern Cape recently I went over I think it was 4/5 Cattle Grids which were partly broken/in a state of disrepair. Up near Tiffendel Ski Resort area were 2 where the middle was broken,missing enough for a certain crash.These were made of metal rods not at all like the Railway line ones of the Karoo. The other type were concrete grids similar to these concrete palisaide fences. Riding with care on approach was definitly the order of the day.The approach I took was to go in car tracks, where as in the Karoo I may use the middle on account of the odd pothole in the car track.
