Wanted - 1150 GS Adventure seat (+ base plate)
Hi
I wonder if you can help or point me in the right direction… I’m busy giving my “Old GS 1150” a little revamp, spray-job etc…. and looking for a seat from the 1150 Adventure model ?
My model (2001) is the normal 1150 GS - But most the parts have been replaced with the Adventure specs, eg the bigger 30l tank, wider screen, shocks etc…
And hence, would like to fit the Adventure type seat on to the bike. (probably will need the connecting base plate to frame as well).

I have one - it may need a recover as it is dropped for the shorter rider
I've been told the 1150GS seat is better than the GSA seat:
- You can remove the pillion seat and have a flat packing area, and
- The rider's seat is more shaped.
Perhaps a GSA with the ordinary two-part seat is a killer combo?
