Hi

i need to replace my tyres on my Gs,air cooled.

been happy with Anakee 3,but open to suggestions.

mainly road bias, and we normally load the bike full of kit for trips.we are also not the "lightest" either.

i would like to get the best tyre wear but noting we are heavy on tyres due to load.

Phone Battery and Tyre World in Knysna. Overnight delivery at your door for +- R110. I had mine delivered at Supa Quick Parow. Fitted and balanced at best price. Still riding with Anakee 3's. Best price I could get in the Cape. Google their site. They have a wide range of tyres. Many riders on our forum can vouch for their service.

Jacques.

The Maxxis Presa Detour is very good value and lasts very long.  Andyman swears by them, and although he takes them offroad a lot, they actually have a similar tread to the Anakee and are well-suited to road.

My last few tyres I have bought online through TracMac.  Get good prices, delivered to my door.  But, Flying Brick is also a great option for tyres - if you have your bike serviced at Donford Cape Town he will drop the tyres off there to be fitted.

Try Motorcycle World. Better prices and more friendly and accommodating than Trac Mac.
