HI, I want to get waterproof textile trousers. I am considering the IXS. They go for about R1800. I don't want to spend more than that. I don't really know what else is available. Any suggestion of shops I can go to in the Belville Area? Thanks

For a bit less than that you can get the BMW Citi pants. Man, I covet those but just can't afford them (actually I can, I just can't afford to let my wife see how much I spent on a pair of pants ;-) ) As for waterproof - I believe they are water-resistant. I would rather get a plastic waterproof suit that folds up small so that I can manage what I wear in layers, and have a properly waterproof outfit when I need it. My waterproof textile jacket was no match for these rains...

I picked up a really nice pair of Nitro winter pants at Trac Mac in Bellville for just under a grand. Armored, gaurds the works. Warren

I agree with Charles - City Trouser very nice alrounder. I use them with a rain suit (when needed)
