MUST SEE TRAINING DAY SNAPSHOTS (24th June 2012)

MeganV's picture

Yesterday (Sunday 24th June) was an exhilarating, fun and adventurous day for the riders who attended the well-organised training course lead by Pete O' Hanlon (Level 1), John Carr and Arno (Level 2)

The course really tested the technical skills of the riders, who had to complete a series of challenging activities in chilly and rainy weather. As Adrian mentioned in his post - there were MANY thrills and spills Smile The riders faced sandy and muddy terrains and the highlight of the day (as many will agree) was the tag game where 2 riders at a time went against each other to try and catch the other.

I stayed with the level 2 riders for the day and have grouped the photographs according to the activities. (I have tried to include everyone in the photo's!Smile)

I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Activity 1 - Circles and Figure of 8 excersize

This activity saw riders having to do circles and figure of 8's inside a marked tyre course. This was an activity which required a lot of balance and patience.

Thanks Megs Laughingwhat a great set of photos to back up a great day in the saddle - I hope everyone is not feeling too sore after yesterday's antics and I hope there won't be too many insurance claims!! Thanks to Pete, John Carr and Arno for organising the day.
