Throttle Body reset

I tried finding Charles' last post on this but couldn't.

I seem to remember:-

Switch the bike on in neutral, don't start it. Gently open the throttle until fully open, close the throttle and repeat four to five times.  Switch off the bike and on again, sorted.

Is this correct?

I tried it and the fuel smell I got before starting up seems to have gone now

If it is correct, I think I should do this on a regular basis, maybe my imagination but the bike seems smoother and a little quicker

Hi David

Sounds about right.  The settings only get lost if you disconnect the battery or let it run completely flat.  But, no harm in repeating the procedure if it makes you feel better ;-)
