RUN FOR THE SON, JESUS FILM PROJECT: TANZANIA

The CMA (Christian Motorcyclist Association) is a group of motorcyclist that’s got a passion for motorbikes and Jesus Christ.

We are currently represented in more than 30 countries around the globe. It is our mission to reach the Motorcycling World through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, one hart at a time, on our motorcycles. We might be “off-track, but our hearts are “on-track”.

Our project this year will be the Tanzania: Jesus Film Project. We have raised money to translate the Jesus Film in two African languages. (Zanaki and Kabwa)

On 21 April, 10 of us will depart from Midrand, on our motorcycles. I am the only person from the Western Cape. The whole trip will take us plus minus 16 days. We will be covering about 8000km during this time. Our base will be at Musoma, right next to the Serengeti. Both tribes are situated close to Lake Victoria.

We will showcase the film on 28 and 29 of April.

The whole trip will be self funded, and will cost between R 30 000.00 and R35 000.00. Your donations will be highly appreciated!

I am also selling raffle tickets in order to help me to cover my costs. I need to sell 200 tickets for R200.00 each. The price will be a Rally 3 jacket and pants, or R14 000.00 in cash.

Die CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association) is ‘n groep motorfietryers wat huidiglik in meer as 30 lande
verteenwoordig word.
Dit is ons roeping om Jesus se liefde met ander te deel, en ons missie is om die wêreld te bereik, een hart op
‘n slag, deur middel van ons motorfietse.
Ons is dalk “off-track”, maar ons harte is “on-track”!
Hierdie jaar het CMA ‘n spesiale projek aangepak om die Jesus Film in Tanzania te gaan wys.
Ons is 10 motorfietse wat op 21 April 2014 vanaf Midrand
sal vertrek.
Die roete strek oor 14 dae. Ons sal die Jesus film vir die
Kabwa stam op 28 April en vir die Zanaki stam op 29 April
wys. Ons sal gedurende hierdie tyd ‘n afstand van 8000km
aflê.
Die terrein is van so ‘n aard dat slegs “off-road” motorfietse
of 4x4 voertuie daar kan uitkom.
Ons moet ons uitgawes self finansier, en dit beloop in die
omtrek van R30 000.00 – R 35 000.00.
U donasie of skenking sal my in staat stel om deel te word
van hierdie lewensveranderende projek.
Geen donasie is te klein, en sal opreg waardeer word. Ek
onderneem ook om vir elke donateur ‘n CD te gee van
hierdie wonderlike ervaring.

Hi all

Just an update. The draw will take place on 4 April 2014. If I sell less than 200 tickets, the price will change as follows:

200 - 180 = Rally suit or R14 000.00 cash  

179 - 150 = Helmet or R7 500.00 cash 

149 - 120 = R 4 000.00 cash 

119 - 100 = R 2 000.00 cash 

99 - 50 = R 1 000.00 cash 

Less 49 = Pay back of entries
