For those who had the experience of the endless hairpin turns (48 on the decent only) of the Stelvio Pass in the mighty Alps on the Swiss / Italian border please take note:

Set your PVR's to record channel SHD7 or SS7 on 27th May at 12h50 to 17h30 for stage 16 of the Giro d'Italia where the cyclist of the Giro will ride Passo dello Stelvio. Three meters of snow at the side of the road at some places and organizers of the race are doing their utmost best to clear the road. This stage might be cancelled if more heavy snow falls.

Also on Channel SHD7 or SS7 on 31 May at 15h10 to 17h30 is stage 20 of the Giro when cyclist will ride up Monte Zoncolan. This is one of the most demanding climbs in professional road bicycle racing. The ride up this narrow road with Geoff, Hennie, Cecil & their better halfes was one of highlights of our 2013 Europe tour.
