The Cape leg of the South African National Observed Trials championship is looking for sponsors.  The audience will be national trials riders (many of whom also ride enduro or adventure), and Western Cape bike riders and enthusiasts of all persuasions.

Sponsoring one of the 12 sections for two days is R3000.  A few years ago a similar sponsorship landed business worth over a hundred thousand for the sponsor.

The last two rounds of the South African National Motorcycle trials are to be held in Cape Town on the 16 th and 17 th of September 2017. Both rounds at Welgelegen Farm, Kuilsriver.

We are needing sponsors for the event.

Trials is a bit like golf. The lowest score wins and each ‘section’ is a bit like a ‘hole’ in golf. The rider enters into the ‘section’ and attempts to ride the entire pre-marked route without touching the ground with his feet, knees or hands. This sounds easier than it is as the ‘Section Setters’ go out of their way to trip, trick or block their unsuspecting competitors from getting through without ‘dabbing’!!

All of this is done in good nature and with respectful camaraderie (so very British it is) but it can be very exciting and jaw-dropping as you get up close and personal with the best in the country. This is a wonderful sport for spectators and riders to be nearby but not in any danger. It is also a wonderful opportunity for “Sponsors” to take advantage of the “up close and personal” vibe and get their message across.

To this end we are offering and seeking partner sponsors for each section on each of the days. Each day, 12 sections are ridden 4 times. That means 24 sections are available for boards or banners,
products, music and whatever you can make of it. If you are not able to man the section, we can allocate an observer for your section. And, if that is all too much, you could donate a prize or prizes for the
Sunday evening prizegiving.

The cost of a Section Sponsorship is R3000 for the 2 days. Both days can expect bike-aware visitors of about 200 per day. We will be getting radio coverage leading up to the event.
