Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

So close to Christmas and it is time to unwind on our last roadie trip for 2012.  It is really at a beautifull setting. We meet at 8.30 am at Engen Plattekloof, we start the ride at 09.00 towards the N1 there we turn of to Franschoek, going on the pass towards Villiersdorp, At the Theewaterskloof dam we turn towards Grabouw and we should be 10.30 at the Elgin country club, about 130 km trip. There we have our breakfast ready at the same time there is no time constraints. Then it depend on the members where the trip home will take them, our old favourite route is Botrivier, Rooi –Els Gordons Bay and back home or straight from Grabouw along the N2 straight home. Fellow members I am looking forward to show you this gem of a restaurant. Breakfasts are affordable from R25 –R40 and the coffee or juice is free.
