Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

Aan die begin van die jaar het ek en Carel datums uitgesit vir clubrides wat ons die jaar wil doen. Terselfdertyd het tannie Hestie en oom Johan my genader om te hoor of ek nie ‘n groep ryers wil deurbring vir ‘n naweek nie.

Na bietjie heen en weer het ons ‘n naweek gekry wat gepas is en die datum vasgemaak. Die Annual Sutherland Winter Ride is al welbekend en ons wou bietjie iets anders bied en ‘n ander plek gaan verken sonder om te bots met die Winter Ride.

Good day Everybody. Here is the trip report of the Soetes and Sop Winter ride that I hosted last weekend. As much as I want to take credit for this trip report it must go to Jani who rode pillion with me. I just want to share it with the fellow club members. I hope you enjoy the report.

I also want to thank all of you who went on this trip, you guys rocked and I hope to see you on the next trip. It was a pleasure riding with all of you.

So here is a short piece of the next little town that we visited. I mostly grew up in the Boland and that is where my heart still lies, like the popular afrikaans song goes... "Dis my land, die boland vir my..." .
