R27 restoration

Does anyone have a good diagram or detailed photograph of a blown out steering damper (friction and pressure plates) for an R27.

I am pretty sure I have all the right parts, but have a niggling feeling I am missing something.

You should look on MAXBMW.com, at the parts site use the Fische and choose your model, there you will find diagrams, I think it only has friction plates???

Thanks, I have a similar catalogue of those diagrams, but also unable to blow them up on screen to inspect the details of the friction plate assembly.

Good to know of that particular site though as can now compare prices.
