Hi

I have a 2007 r1200gs.  Recently the right hand indicator switch will not activate the indicators.

The other switches (cancel, heated grips) still work it is just the indicator.

New cluster cost al lot.  Is it possible to fix?  Does anyone know of a company who does that?

Thank you for the advice.

Yes, it is possible to fix with a bit of soldering.  Most likely you will need to replace the microswitch for the indicator in the cluster.  The easiest is to get another broken cluster and salvage the switch from there.  Otherwise, it might be possible to buy another microswitch from a standard electronics supplier once you know what model/layout switch to use.

Have you spoken to Shane at Donford Motorrad?  He will know what you can do.  Some of the other great mechanics in Cape Town also have solutions for you (Jandré Koekemoer, Doug Saayman, etc).

Thank you for the advice.  I stripped the switches, cleaned them and it works again.  I hope it will last but if not will look for a replacement.

I found the switches for sale from https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/c-k/K12C-1-5N/401-1159-ND/417544

The part no is k12c 1 5n.
