An integrated Daytime Running Light for BMW R1200GS/GSA (2004-2012) has just been developed. The light bar has been integrated into the headlight housing.

Ara, a gent on this forum developed the same thing back in 2003 for the 1150's and it worked very well.

Please gents correct me if I am wrong, but I read somewhere that LED lights were an option on the post 2010 model GS's?

Not that I can see. Maybe someone knows more.

Where did you buy the LED's? I also want to replace my 2008 1200GS main light with LED's.

Integrated Daytime Running lights for R1200GSs are on its way as we speak. Developed in Belgium, it will replace the standard light shroud and plug into the current parking light plug. Rating: 850 lumen.

LED replacement bulbs specifically developed for BMWs with replacement rear light covers are on its way as well.

Not to knock OEM equipment, but LED replacement spots work 100 times better than the incandescent GSA spots.

The DRL kit for R1200GS 04-12 has arrived. CanBus compatible, with a 850 Lumen output. Installation is easy. Remove the current headlight trim and replace with the DRL unit. Powered via the Parking Light socket.
