R12000GS Side-stand spring attachment
Does anyone know who could do some fine welding on a side-stand?
I noticed one of the springs from my side-stand was hanging loose. On closer inspection I see that one of the small nubs onto which the spring attached has sheared off.
Looking up the parts fiche, the price of a new side-stand is likely in the order of R2k (part 46537683977 - $158 plus shipping). I haven't contacted the dealers yet - but I somehow doubt they'd be cheaper.
I could try Acme - but want to see if there is a cheaper/simpler option.
