"Panning" on garmin zumo 350?

Can anybody advise on how to "pan" on a zumo 350 GPS?

I have a samsung S3 phone and you easily drag the map to where you want to go? 

Is this possible on the zumo 350?

How?

You zoom out with the "minus" icon in top centre of screen, then drag screen with your finger to where you more or less would want to go.

Tap on screen and a blue flag shows.  Then tap anywhere and that blue flag will go to that spot and with it the screen pans along. When you get the blue flag in the general area you want to be, zoom in, place the flag precisely where you need it and tap " go".   En daar gaan jy! Hope it helps. 

Its one of those things...its embarrassingly easy once figured  out!.
