Tucked away between the 1000m high Moutonsberg and the Bokkeveldberge in the far northern reaches of the Western Cape, lies a remote gravel pass that leads to a solitary farm in the Klein Koebee river valley. It's steep (1:4 in places) and some sections have lots of loose round stones. One really has to be a gravel pass fan to hunt this one down and getting there requires a bit of precise navigation, but we've done all the spadework and provided all the turn-offs with GPS co-ordinates. The views are deserving of your time and effort. What an awesome part of South Africa!
