The "on-road" route is via Napier - some of the best roads for tar riding. :) The "off-road" route is probably via Gansbaai and then 30 to 40 km of good dirt road. This is definately not the average "breakfast run". However, it promises to be an unforgetable day ride. Starting at 8 from Somertset West we should be in Elim by 10. Then handing over the gifts, etc. To be followed by lunch at the Mill in Elim. Finally the ride back home. There are SO MANY that have been asking for a "day ride" - here is the perfect opportunity. Sorry, but I thought I could organize my day to include this ride. My wife and I was very keen to contribute but we have a prior engagement in Somerset West in the afternoon... It's going to be to much of a 'gejaag' to do both....
