Oil Recycling / Disposal - Cape Town
Can anyone point me in the direction of someone who does oil recycling (specifically the disposal of used motor oil) in the Cape Town environs? Names / Contact number etc.
Up North (lol) there were some service stations who offered the service, so wondering if significalntly more environmentally aware Cape Town has something similar - Ideally in the Northern suburbs...

These guys will only come and remove 200L + at a time
If you have about 20L or less to dispose of, then all auto workshops (AFAIK) are required by law to accept your waste engine oil.
At Tableview dump site (next to Killarney) they have a container where you can drop-off your old oil if it is in a 5lt container or bigger. They have dedicated areas for different materials that can be recycled.

There is also a used oil drop off facility at the municipal recycling facilities/dump in Joostenbergvlakte/Kraaifontein. They have a big container there (supplied by the Rose foundation AFAIK) and you just empty into it.
