Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

Hi, got a BMW 100RT 1991 about 10 days now, live in Somerset West. I bought the bike after 20 yrs of non riding, to get to Cape Town and back every day for a few months. Any general comments on the reputation of this bike would be appreciated, and pointing me to a suitable service centre would help a lot. Last question for now is what to expect consumption wise on freeway travel. Thanks for any input.
