NELSON'S CREEK

For some unknown reason we are extremely short of registrations for Nelson's Creek. So far we have only received 120 registrations, last year we had 220 in total.
If would be appreciated if club members could encourage fellow riders and members to come along and enjoy the weekend with us. This year we have included a gymkhana, mystery tour and increased the number of prizes.
Failure to get around 200 registration will have serious financial ramifications for the club and may result in this event being cancelled for next year.
Please be assured that this years event will go ahead and be even better than last year

Nelson's Creek 2007 was the first real interaction I had with the BMW Club.
A year later, and I have made many friends and done many miles in their company.
The organised rides are mind-blowing and give you the pleasure of spending a few hours in the saddle with a never-ending video of BMW's carving through mountain passes and the smiles that result.
From what I understand, this year the facilities are all improved and, with the foreast of no rain, should make this a hugely entertaining weekend - hell, even Cliff is going to camp! :-0
Our wives are coming through on Saturday evening to join us for the dinner and dance, which once again, brings our two loves together in one place - it's only 30 mins from Cape Town!
Personally, I'm looking forward to the road ride in the morning, then picking up my Dakar en route, and doing the skills challenge in the afternoon. So, if you really want some entertainment, this you have to see!
So for those on the fence, make an effort and get through for the weekend. It's a great party with a great bunch of people.
Just make sure you get your spot on the BBQ before Olaf gets there. :-)
Hope to see many more, plus the same, faces as last year.
