Hi Freak As long as the
Hi Freak As long as the majority of bikes are BMW, we have no objection to the occasional rider of a non-BMW bike registering and attending the event (especially as the slow turnout of BMW riders is putting us at risk of running at a loss). As Neil says, we would like people to come for the weekend. Imagine if 100 or more other riders pitched to watch the skills challenge only - we would have an infrastructural nightmare and no financial compensation, and the place would look ugly with all those 'other' bikes ;-). So we do reserve right of admission, and will charge a 'day fee' of R50 for people who come for only a day.

Kobus,the day visitor issue
Kobus, the day visitor issue was an encouragement to members/BMW riders to please support the event over both days, as, if they don't, the club could suffer a fairly serious financial loss. Another way of phrasing it could be:"If you can only make one day ,please pay for two as we desperately need the funds. We would most like to have you there, but understanding that you can't make it please help." I may have misunderstood, but felt it was being said in a gentlemanly fashion, understated. Encouraging, Not at all disparaging of those unable to fully attend.

Freak, I can see where you
Freak, I can see where you are coming from, but seeing that a BMW day visitor is only just welcome, I cannot see it being open to all. But it is not my call. Kobus --------- Dream like you will live forever, live like you're going to die tomorrow

Hi Dave/ Charles and all forum and club members. I have placed a link to this page on the Wilddog forum. I see nothing here about other riders on other bikes coming in to see / watch share the experience. Some info and guidance here please. I RIDE THEREFORE I AM!
