MOVING... the Flying Brick Store is on the move....
Hi: the Flying Brick Store will be relocating at close-of-business on Thursday, 29th August, and re-opening on Monday 02nd September, just 100 meters away, so still within GASOLINE ALLEY!
We have outgrown our existing premises, are doubling the floor space, will now be on the GROUND FLOOR with direct access, so we can display motorcycles AS WELL as our existing (and new!) range of accessories...
Therefore we will be CLOSED on Friday 30th August, and Saturday 31st August, re-opening for business 8:00 am on Monday 02nd September.
I will post the map later this week, the STREET address is
Unit 3, 360 Business Park, SHROPSHIRE street, Paarden Eiland.
...coming from MARINE DRIVE, into NEPTUNE street, 2nd left into SHROPSHIRE street, we are on the right hand side
...coming from SECTION street, left at T-junction into MARINE DRIVE Service Rd, left into NEPTUNE Street, left into SHROPSHIRE
The range will be expanded significantly, more on that later, but we will have most all of the additional products on the day of re-opening.

Good luck Chris - not that you'll need it, I'm sure
Good luck Chris.

See you soon.
Congratulations Chris, may you grow from strength to strength.
Looking good Chris

thanks, Carel!
Wow! This place is fantastic. A one-stop shop for quality bike and rider accessories.
The shop is easily accessible from North and South, being just off the major thoroughfares. The presence of Mr.Badger's twin brother in front of the shop was already encouraging. Then...
complete biker overwhelm. A shop full of useful things for biking...
Yes, there is soft luggage, bike-suitable tents, protective gear for bike and rider, bike2bike comms, GPS and phone mounts, BMW Club branded gear, bike-suitable camping stoves, books, Drift cameras and things I don't even know what they are for.
Chris also has one of the Motorradical-fitted bikes from the SA 2012 GS Trophy team in the shop. Motorradical is a South African company that manufactures accessories for bikes.
Chris Grinton has a discerning eye for quality and value for money. He helped me choose a handlebar holder for my cellphone, and some suitable LED indicators for Mr. Badger. I also met his charming and beautiful wife who is busy doing the shop's website.
After the visit, I popped around the corner to Helderberg Yamaha to see whether they had the new Metzeler Karroo 3 in stock, and ended up chatting to Shane Hoskins about Brenda Buttercup while fitting new Karroo 3s front and back. While waiting and browsing the shop I found the consignment of ex-Hamman Motorrad rider gear and ended up buying replacement pants (my birthday present from Julie). Got BMW summer pants - the legs zip off into shorts.
Congrats on your new shop Chris. It is a great place in a great location.
I've been at the
Flying Brick store a couple of times, and bought some nice goodies . The new
store is awesome and you always get the best and friendliest service from Chris.
It is very hard to walk out of there empty handed
Thank
you for going out of your way to help me today. You're a life saver.
Wishing you and your new store all the best.
Keep
up the excellent and Friendly service.
