I hope the rider of a yellow GS1150 with reg GS1150WP reads this. My fellow BMW motorcyclist. I was riding behind you in Fairtrees this afternoon @ 17:10. The middle finger that you dish out to the cagers may get you in big trouble. Did you know that a cager can take you out oh so easily and just claim that he did not see you? We want the respect of the other road users and with your middle finger you are not going to gain any. Road rage is a reality today, let's not provoke more of it. Cheesy says "feet on the pegs", let's add "hands on the handlebars". Ride safe, I would hate to see that beautiful bike being flattened by a cage.

Basset, the scary thought is this "person" enrages those in cars - and then YOU get their rath! I join your plea that one-and-all on bikes should always try to portray a good image.

Why bother with signs? Driving a car is its own punishment - I am so busy enjoying my ''smilomometer'' and congratulating myself when I anticipate a dumb move by a motorist or use skillful riding to avoid a crash that there is no time for signs or even the 'glaring' I have seen some riders do.
