Hi guys,

Who in the Cape Town can be recommended to repair a leaking metal fuel tank? Many years of hard labor managed to split the tank on one of the upper seams, a temp plastic steel fix is preventing catastrophe but not 100% effective.

I used a radiator place last time I needed to fix my old R65 tank and had to cover it with more body filler than the late Michael Jackson. So this time I would rather pay slightly more and have it done neater and not have it plastered with body filler afterwards. Minor fills in scrapes and small dings can be sorted by a chosen panel beater.

Thanks,
W

Contact Ryan's http://www.ryansmotorcyclesurgery.co.za/ they did a tank for me as part of a bike upgrade that was held together with rust. Not sure who they used.

"Clives customs" in Paarden Island do an epoxy liner on rusted/leaking tanks.
