The Andyman is looking for a Pelican 1200 hard carry case.

Please go look again amongst the stuff you bought but never use and dig out that Pelican case you aren't using.

It could also be the Ningbo Everest EPc022 enclosure as well (Chinese copy)

Reply to post or PM me,

let's talk cost, and if we agree, I'll come collect.

For those that are looking to store delicate electronics on the bike, go visit Makro. This box has the Pelican type sponge inside that can be shaped to your needs. Should take most cameras.

Great price, a similar Pelican case will cost over R1000.

I will probably buy some in for the Flying Brick Store...

wide/high for Andy's intended application (I think). Want to mount a case behind the number plate as a 1st Aid kit.

Watching this closely - Andy please post details/pics when you find a suitable case.

well, I went and bought 10 of these 'wanna-be' Pelican look-alikes - Andyman, pop in sometime and cast your critical eye over them, metal hinge pin, LOOK strong/durable, and come with the pre-cut foam ready to take a SLR, or handgun, or whatever...

My Ningbo Everest 'pelican' cases arrived on Monday: Two cases imprted from China for the price of one Pelican case (imp duty included). Took 14 days to get here

I pop rivetted the registration plate onto the cover. then bolted the case to the original mount: Then I fitted my first aid kit neatly into the case, and used a cable tie for each lock hole to keep it closed.

I now have a tad more room to get to my Twalcom with the reg plate moved away with its sharp edge.: You hardly notice it is there unless you do a double take. I mounted Annie's on her bike and put her puncture kit and her recovery straps into her box.I now have a tad more room to get to my Twalcom with the reg plate moved away with its sharp edge.: You hardly notice it is there unless you do a double take.

I mounted Annie's on her bike and put her puncture kit and her recovery straps into her box. What a neat and discrete job.

Real handy.

Jandre,

The light no longer illuminates the plate.

The plate itself is very v;ear;y visible.

Since fitting I have been stopped at traffic check points for licence and vehicle check, no issues, once by day, once by nioght.

And the officers did not even notice a difference.
