Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

One of the first BMW Club Rides took place 32 years ago when a group of enthusiasts took a ride to Dixies in December.

Since then every year the club has celebrated one of the inaugural rides.

We will gather at Plattekloof, Engen. Heading of to Ladies Mile from there for a ride over Ou Kaapseweg. If anybody wants to meet us for example on the Ladies Mile road etc. please let me know. We will meet at 8.30 sharp to leave at 09.00.

After breakfast we can carry on around the Peninsula through Scarborough, Kommetjie and even over Chapman's Peak.

The first BMW Club Ride took place 27 years ago when a group of enthusiasts took the first ride to Dixies in December. Since then every year the club has celebrated the inaugural ride. Ladies Mile "re-group" On the morning of the Dixies run, the weather was right for a perfect ride. A slight chill in the air with no clouds and absolutely no wind. This year 17 bikes gathered at the Plattekloof Engen, heading of to Ladies Mile. At Ladies Mile approximately another 10 bikes joined the group for a ride over Ou Kaapseweg. Johan and Zana waited at the top of Ou Kaapseweg and joined the group.
