Archive of BMW Motorrad Club Cape (2006 - 2019)

Hi guys,

So ... I've bought an HP2 (this one!) from someone in Jhb and now need to get her down to Cape Town. I tried various bike transporters and they're either fully booked until next month or have no bookings at all and would therefore have to wait to fill up their vehicle.

Understandably I'm quite keen to get this beautiful lady to her new home...

The engine was recently rebuilt and it's only done 1000km since then so I'm not too keen to ride her down all the way. Plus my foot is not 100% yet.

I've got the seller looking for a spot on a trailer from Jhb to the Bike Fest in Oudtshoorn over Easter. Now I'm looking for someone who can bring it from Oudtshoorn to Cape Town for me on a trailer.

Of course, if anybody knows of an opportunity on a trailer directly from Jhb to Cape town that would be even better. In either case, I'll offer a contribution towards petrol costs.
