At last after a two month wait, "The Truck" has been let out of Customs, she has new shoes on and are ready for the road. Are there any longish runs that I could join this weekend (24-26/07/2007)? It sure would be enjoyed.

What do you call a "Truck", surely not a gracious RT - has to be a "Stof eter", aka GS. :) Do you want to go for a weekend ride or would you like to join us on Sunday for an extended breakfast run. The run is a short 90 km run (one way), many of us will then decide on a "next" destination and enjoy the ride. Do you know where and when the breakfast runs start? May you have many happy miles on your bike.

"The Truck" is a 03 KL1200LT, because it is as big as one, but rides like a Mclaren. A breakfast run would do for now. I do know it start at one or other Engen fuel station. Thanks for the wishes. Zapman Cape Town South Africa (Right now running around in Soyo Angola) 03 KL1200LT

The breakfast run on Sunday is going to Rawsonville and starts at the Plattekloof Engen at 8:30.

You should feel very welcome, with the last breakfast run there were TWO LT's :) Don't you think the term "Luxury Bus" describes her better, after all it is an RT on steroids. If you need any more info about the breakfast run give me a call on 073 280 0821, or use the messenger function. We will be taking an extended ride from Engen to Opstal, probably closer to 140 km than the original 90 km.

Thanks very much for all the info. The Zumo has been updated with the departing point and Mapsource told me that I will need 0:32:42 to reach there. So see you guys/girls on Sunday. @Padlangs, yes "Luxury Bus" would be a better description, but she has been named by someone else and the name just stuck. Maybe "How did you name your bike?" would be a good forum topic, if it has not been done before. Zapman Cape Town South Africa (Right now running around in Soyo Angola) 03 KL1200LT
