Yes it's definitely still on.

Anna Marie is busy with the planning, trying to make it more than just another training session; we want it to be fun.

As u all know by now this is a training day for Ladies only and that is why we will be doing things us girls are curious about / want to know but don't ask when the men around / things that don't come second nature / sometimes feel intimidated etc BUT we are the easy learners without the ego's and men like to train us as we don't ask dumb questions...we are the practical ones.  SO, what is this training day going to be about???

It's all about the HOW TO DO's:

HOW TO DO'S:

- general suspension settings and when it's needed;

- correct seat height

- tyre pressures - when and for what conditions and weights carried;

- how and where to check oil on the bike and how regularly;

- how all the controls on your bike works;

- what to take on a trip - what is crucial although you don't know how to use it yourself;

- some packing tips as we pack differently than men - we pack more in smaller spaces.. How to secure things on your bike to be safe

- what clothing, helmets, boots, gloves for different conditions

WHAT MORE TO EXPECT:

- General bike rules, riding in groups and following distances;

- stopping in the correct spot in order to pull away easily; how to push a bike around;

- Basic Level 1 training methods, cone riding, hill stopping/pulling away, cornering, overtaking & counter steering on tar

- lots of giggles, sexy girls with their sexy bikes, laughs and lots of fun, loads of good humour;

- surprises, lots of photies, healthy lunch, coffee on arrival

- trainers that will share their expertise in a relaxed way

WHERE DOES THIS ALL HAPPEN:

- Date: 16 August 2015

- Venue: ANURA Vineyards, Klapmuts

- Time: Arrival 08:00 for coffee and registration

- Lunch: 13:00

- Should finish by ±15:30

WHO CAN JOIN THIS DAY?

- ALL SIZES, ALL BRANDS OF BIKES - bring along your friend on her Honda, Suzuki, KTM etc

- THIS IS A FUN DAY FOR US GIRLS.

See you all at 8:00 sunday morning at Anura vineyards, 16 Aug.  Hot coffee and a going fire place awaiting us girls for the training day.  First half of the day will be an indoor workshop with demonstrations and discussions.  Practical training eg cone riding, emergency braking etc will follow after lunch.  Looking forward to a fun-filled ladies event.  Thank you to the ladies for their speedy bookings and confirmation of payment.  U girls rock!!

Dit was heerlik! Ons het dit vreeslik geniet - tot laat die aand nog by die huis gesels oor alles wat ons geleer het. Dit was ook lekker om al die girls te leer ken.

Ek het geen laataand gesels gehad nie. Ek was poegaai! Het 9 ure se slaap gekry gisteraand om te probeer herstel.

Dit was baie lekker om net die girls te wees. Ek voel dat ek uiteindelik beginne cones en die skerp draaie regkry! Dis danksy Neels wat voor 'n mense uithardloop en sê "Kyk vir my!"

Baie dankie vir 'n uitstekende dag!

He-he, Zanie ek dink hy was braaf om so iets te doen. Ek dink al die dames het baie goed gedoen. Ek was nogal verbaas om te so baie skill te sien.
